The resort is a few minutes boat ride from the mainland of Cebu, Badian Resort has its own helipad allowing for a quick 25 minute ride via helicopter from Cebu Airport. Badian Resort has its own private white sand beach as well as a swimming pool in which guests can swim or just chill under the sun.

Having stayed Badian Island Resort we have to say we were a little disappointed, paying so much we expected more. While overall the resort is quite nice, there isn’t anything outstanding, the beach is pretty ordinary, and the rooms while large, roomy and clean, are somewhat dated with old décor and furniture. The spa is nice and the staff are super friendly and look after your needs. The food was good if on the pricey side, and the beach dinner with dancing was great. The resort covers one corner of Badian Island (a few minute boat ride from the mainland of Cebu) and it is secluded and peaceful. Badian Island Resort tries to bill itself as 5 star luxury resort but in reality it falls short of this. With a bit more effort this place has the potential to be something great but as far as it stands it’s not worth the money. A better option is Sumilon Blue Water Resort on the other side of Cebu.
