Colon Street is the oldest street in the Philippines. Built back in the 1500's by the Spanish when Miguel Lopez de Legazpi was establishing Cebu. Named after Christopher Columbus, it is now a bustling part of Cebu. The street is lined with shops, malls, restaurants and many people! The northern part of the street has a obelisk (know as the Colon Marker) detailing the history of the street.
